Uinta County is a special place situated in the southwest corner of Wyoming.  Located on the main East - West I-80 interstate, we are but a short drive from large metropolitan areas, yet maintain a quieter way of life.  

We value our pioneer heritage and honor it by preserving many historic sites.  Blessed with great scenic beauty, we have a passion to preserve our wild spaces for sports and recreation.
