Sheriff’s Message
Uinta County Sheriff's Office is a County law enforcement organization in which the men and women are tasked with serving about 20,685 citizens throughout the jurisdictional boundaries of all 2,088 square miles of Uinta County, Wyoming.
Being a county which borders the State of Utah to the south and west, we are also home to one of the largest Interstates in the Country, Interstate 80. We are committed to working with other agencies and our citizens to provide the best law enforcement services available.
We are organized to successfully fulfill our obligations, both statutorily and constitutionally. We are committed to keeping up with the rapidly evolving, ever-changing public safety demands to better our home through community oriented policing.
