Maternal Child Health Nurse
Full Time Nurse for Public Health - Open June 5, 2019 - June 21, 2019.
Uinta County Public Health is seeking a Full-Time (40 hours/week, benefits available) Maternal Child Health Home Visiting Nurse.
This nursing role involves primarily working with pregnant women and young families in home visit settings, providing education and access to services. Part of duties will include working with families enrolled in the Empowering Single Mothers grant, and additional public health nurse duties as assigned.
- Wyoming Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required
- BSN preferred
- Preference to RN with work experience in pediatric, maternal health, and/or Public Health
- Strong Computer Skills a must
- Ability to be self-directed and good communication and interpersonal skills are crucial.
- Valid WY Driver’s License, with good driving record
This position is funded by grants from the Wyoming Department of Health and Department of Family Services.

Detention Deputy for Uinta County Sheriff’s Office in Evanston. Excellent salary/ benefits. Lateral transfers will be considered if certified and experienced. Starting salary is $3,200.00 per month for a probationary Detention Deputy, benefits package includes: health insurance, vacation & sick leave, and retirement.
The requirements for this position are: High School diploma or equivalent, 21 years of age, no high misdemeanor or felony convictions, United States citizen, valid driver's license, typing and computer skills preferred, and must pass physical fitness testing.
