Public Health

While you may think we're all about immunizations, we do so much more for the communities we serve.  In addition, we provide Immunization clinics, Travel Vaccines, TB Testing and follow-up, confidential HIV/Hepatitis Testing and Counseling, Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) screening and counseling, Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar screening, and Pregnancy testing to name a few.

We provide individual and personalized education from pregnancy to adults who need help with changes in their health status.  We focus on confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations.   Just give us a call and let us know what you need.

Do I need vaccinations or Boosters today?

Do I really NEED shots?

?Some previously eradicated diseases have emerged again, and cases are on the rise. This video talks about the pros and cons of not vaccinating your children.

Why Might Some Adults Need Vaccines?

Some adults incorrectly assume that the vaccines they received as children will protect them for the rest of their lives. Generally this is true, except that:

  • Some adults were never vaccinated as children
  • Newer vaccines were not available when some adults were children
  • Immunity can begin to fade over time
  • As we age, we become more susceptible to serious disease caused by common infections (such as flu and pneumococcus)
