Where the Tax Money Goes
Each month, the Treasurer's Office distributes the tax monies to the taxing entities of the county. The money is distributed based on the mill levies.

For the tax year 2008, the proportions were:
  • BOCES: $1,184,676
  • Bond Interest: $708,877
  • Bridger Valley Water Conserve: $38,309
  • City of Evanston: $609,339
  • County Library: $611,134
  • Ft. Bridger Cemetery: $53,432
  • Ft. Bridger Water and Sewer: $8,235
  • General Uinta County: $6,722,475
  • Recreations Systems: $571,059
  • Special School Fund: $19,006,271
  • State School Foundation Fund: $7,333,609
  • Town of Bear River: $23,735
  • Town of Lyman: $77,142
  • Town of Mountain View: $53,788
  • Uinta County Conserv District: $326,345
  • Uinta County Fire District: $1,289,083
  • Weed and Pest: $278,066
